This policy explains what personal data Prepsheets collects, how we use it, and the rights you have. Prepsheets (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides recipe intelligence software for professional kitchens and is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in Ireland. • Account and contact details you give us — such as your name, email address, business name and billing information — when you sign up, request a demo, download a resource, or contact us.
• Recipe and ingredient data you enter into the service to use its features.
• Usage data collected automatically when you use the service — such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and the dates and times of your visits — through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your data, and why

We use your data to:

• provide, maintain and improve the service (to perform our contract with you);
• manage your account and respond to your requests (to perform our contract);
• send you service-related messages and, where you’ve agreed, marketing communications (your consent, or our legitimate interest in promoting the service — you can opt out at any time);
• understand how the service is used and keep it secure (our legitimate interests);
• meet our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
